Abstract In microgrids (MG) with a high penetration of renewable energy sources (RES) power converters are used to regulate the produced single voltage and frequency reference value across MG. Adequate incorporation an LC filter at output electronic devices allows attenuation harmful harmonics that can be introduced MGs bus. By traditional methods, values calculated by means rating, switching frequency, cutoff using bode domain. Nonetheless, in transition from connected autonomous MG operation, lead harmonic injection. As result, tuning methodology capable obtaining right set parameters for event improve performance This work optimizes respect size components, IEEE Std 519-2014 , bandwidth filter, within bounded region subjected conditions such as output, total distortion (THD) measurements during operation. case study, genetic algorithm optimization is obtain compared conventional arithmetic filter. The results higher after rather than method main design factor.
